Happy Anniversary, world!
Today marks the two year anniversary of A Girl Named Wanda! I can’t believe it’s been two years, and I continue to be blown away by the fact that so many of you continue to read my non-sense and ramblings. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and the endless hours of entertainment I’ve enjoyed by reading your blogs and sharing in your experiences.
Currently, I am visiting my grandparents in central Illinois and I am without Internet. 😳They are 95 and 97 years old, so computers and wi-fi isn’t really their thing. I’ve used 20% of my cell phone battery in typing these two paragraphs into the WordPress app. Awesome. While I can’t go into great detail at this time, after spending a week here away from my family and no access to modern technology outside of my phone, you can rest assured that my next post will be worth the wait. 😜

Thank you! I had planned to work on the blog while I was here, until I realized I would have no access to the Internet. Using my phone uses too much data, so l’ll just have to wait. 😕

Thank you! And I’m impressed with myself too! LOL. I never use the app on my phone to post. I find using the iPad is difficult as well. Definitely prefer my PC.

I will answer comments on my phone (that’s usually when I make the most hilarious mistakes), but unless there are extreme extenuating circumstances, I will not post from the phone.

Yes! I answer comments too (like right now!), but it’s so hard to blog using the phone app format. And it takes me forever to type using the text screen.

I am fast at typing on the phone, and yet it is still frustratingly slow! You’d think, going slow, I would catch the typos. But no.

I think it is awesome that you still have both grandparents, especially at 95 & 97! Enjoy every moment. I miss all my grandparents so much.

Thanks Birdie! I am blessed to have two sets of grandparents still living. I’ve lost both grandfathers, but both of my grandmothers remarried in their 70’s. So I’m lucky to have two amazing step-grandfathers!
